Free Office 2010 Upgrade? Microsoft Posts, Pulls Promotion

Microsoft accidentally posted, then quickly pulled, information about an Office 2010 promotion that would let businesses upgrade to the new productivity suite for free.

Microsoft Office vendors resell Office 2007 licenses and offer upgrades when Office 2010 is release in June. The promotion would run for sales of Office 2007 between March 5 and Sept. 30, 2010. This time around, the promotion is called the Microsoft Office 2010 Technology Guarantee Program.
